Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do when using DiveConnect.ai. It is part of our Terms of Service. We may investigate suspected violations and, where appropriate, remove content, throttle or suspend access, or terminate accounts.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, generate, publish, or transmit content that:
- is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or promotes illegal activity;
- infringes intellectual-property rights, or misappropriates another's trademarks, copyrights, or likeness;
- is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or incites violence, or that sexually exploits or endangers minors;
- contains malware, or is designed to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to systems;
- misrepresents diving qualifications, certifications, insurance, licensing, or safety in a way that could endanger people.
2. Prohibited Conduct
- Accessing accounts, data, or areas of the Service you are not authorized to access, or circumventing security or usage limits.
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or copying the Service, or using it to build a competing product.
- Sending spam or unsolicited messages, or using the Service's email/SMS features in violation of anti-spam and messaging laws (for example CAN-SPAM, CASL, or the TCPA).
- Impersonating any person or organization, or misrepresenting your affiliation.
- Placing an unreasonable load on the Service or interfering with its operation.
3. AI Features
When using our AI tools, you may not generate content that violates this AUP or our AI & Content Terms. You must not present AI-generated personas or assistants as real human staff, licensed instructors, or bookable people, and you must not use AI output to provide medical, dive-safety, legal, or other professional advice without qualified human review.
4. Data & Privacy
You must have a lawful basis and appropriate notice before uploading personal data about other people (including your customers), and you must handle that data in line with our Data Processing Addendum. Do not enter your customers' personal information into AI prompts.
5. Your Responsibility for Real-World Services
DiveConnect provides software only. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your listings and for the safety, licensing, insurance, and legal compliance of the dive services you sell and deliver to your customers.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and take action we consider appropriate, including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and cooperating with law enforcement. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate termination without refund.
