SMS Terms & Opt-In
Last Updated: October 24, 2026
DiveConnect (operated by DIVE CONNECT LLC, 7901 4th St N Ste 27295, St Petersburg, FL 33702, USA) sends text messages from its own phone numbers to people who agree to receive them. This page explains what those texts are, how you opt in, and how to stop. Texting is optional: consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can always reach us by email instead.
Sign up for DiveConnect texts
Give your name and mobile number, and tick the box if you want texts from DiveConnect about your booking or support request. The box is never ticked for you, and you can submit the form without it.
What DiveConnect texts
- Support replies: answers to people who text or contact DiveConnect support, on our company line and our diver support line.
- Onboarding and demo updates: messages to dive shop owners and staff who are trying or setting up DiveConnect.
- Demo-line texts: on a DiveConnect demo line, the demo booking confirmation and form links, sent to the person trying the demo after they agree (see below). These texts start with "DiveConnect demo for" and the demo shop's name.
Texts from our company line and diver support line start with "DiveConnect:", and the first text to a number in any 30 days ends with "Reply STOP to opt out." We do not send marketing or promotional texts on this program. Message frequency varies with your request. Msg & data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Sample messages:
DiveConnect: Thanks for reaching out. We can walk you through DiveConnect on Tuesday at 10am. Does that work? Reply STOP to opt out.
DiveConnect: Your demo for Coral Cove Divers is ready: https://www.diveconnect.ai/demo Reply STOP to opt out.
DiveConnect demo for Coral Cove Divers: you're booked on 2-Tank Reef Dive, Sat Nov 7 at 8:00 AM, 2 divers. Reply STOP to opt out.
Where you can opt in
1. On this page and on our Get Started form
The form above and the Get Started form both show this optional, unticked checkbox next to the mobile number field:
Text me updates from DiveConnect about my booking or support request. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
2. On a DiveConnect demo line
A DiveConnect demo lets a dive shop owner try our phone assistant, chat and booking form as their customers would. Demo texts go only to the person trying the demo, and only after they agree in one of these ways.
a. The demo phone assistant asks first
Before it texts you anything, the demo phone assistant asks, word for word:
Is it OK if we text you your confirmation and waiver links? Msg and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP anytime.
- If you say yes: it records your consent and texts the demo booking confirmation and form links to the number you are calling from.
- If you say no: it records that you declined, texts nothing, and sends the confirmation by email instead. For a form link it replies:
No problem, I won't text you. I can take a message so the team emails you our waiver link instead.
- If it never asked, it texts nothing.
The full instruction the demo phone assistant follows, word for word:
Before you take a phone number for texts or text the caller anything (a booking confirmation, a waiver or payment link), ask: "Is it OK if we text you your confirmation and waiver links? Msg and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP anytime." If they say yes, pass sms_consent=true to the booking or waiver-link tool. If they say no, pass sms_consent=false, text nothing, and send the confirmation by email instead (ask for their email if you do not have it). Texting is never a condition of booking.
b. The demo chat shows the notice before asking for a number
The demo chat shows this notice under the message box, and before or when it asks for your phone number the chat assistant writes it word for word, with the demo shop's name:
By giving your number, you agree to receive booking texts from Coral Cove Divers. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
It texts the demo booking confirmation only if it showed that line before you gave your number. If you say you don't want texts, it uses email only.

c. The demo booking form shows the notice under the phone field
The booking form on a demo shop's site shows this directly under the phone field, before you submit:
By giving your number, you agree to receive booking texts from Coral Cove Divers. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

The phone assistant on our company line does not send texts.
3. When you text us first
If you text our company line or our diver support line, we reply in that conversation. Your first message tells us you want a reply.
Stopping texts and getting help
- Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT or REVOKE) at any time. You will get one message confirming you are unsubscribed, and no further texts from that number.
- Reply START (or UNSTOP or SUBSCRIBE) to resubscribe.
- Reply HELP (or INFO) for help, or email support@diveconnect.ai.
We record every opt-in, decline and opt-out (the number, the time, where it was given and the exact wording shown) so we can honor your choice.
Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Separate: booking pages we host for dive shops
Dive shops that use DiveConnect collect texting consent on their own booking pages in the same way: the booking form notice and chat notice shown above, with the shop's name. Those texts come from the shop's own number, under the shop's name, not under this DiveConnect program. After someone books a course, the participant details page asks for a phone number because dive training agencies require one. Texting stays a separate, optional checkbox that is never ticked for them.
